I launched a newsletter when I first started my consultancy in 2018. That lasted 6 months. I wasn't able to sustain it as a one-woman show. PROJECT DETAILS

📍 THE SITUATION:

As an entrepreneur, speaker, content creator and more, Kara Ladd wears a lot of hats. While launching a newsletter had been in the back of her mind for some time, Kara was looking for some assistance where the rubber meets the road.

Kara’s goals:

  1. Unlock a place to connect with her existing community on a deeper level

  2. Promote and market her upcoming site relaunch

  3. Increase the number of ‘exploratory calls’ booked on her site.

🤝 THE APPROACH

With a budding blog, a redesigned website, and a sizable Instagram following at our disposal, we had plenty to work with. We focused our content and growth strategies around ways we could have these individual pieces work off one another.

We envisioned a multi-platform scenario where Kara’s forthcoming newsletter would drive to her new site and Instagram, her Instagram would promote her newsletter and grow her subscriber base, and her website would attract prospective clients and serve as a place to house her future log of published newsletters.

📈 THE STRATEGY:

✍️ Content: Leveraging an email marketing platform designed for content creators, we proposed a monthly newsletter called GROWING FWD:, where Kara would:

  1. Drive to a new blog post each month

  2. Encourage ‘exploratory call’ bookings

  3. Update her audience with product launches, business updates and more, when needed.

🚀 Growth: We consistently targeted Kara’s Instagram and LinkedIn community before and after each newsletter send. We also brainstormed lead generation vehicles that would mobilize those in her community that needed a little added incentive.
